The metalwork is lovely with brightly shed brass fittings

The hard black leather grip plates are checkered and secured by four rivets entering from the left side

This 2nd Model Naval Dagger was probably purchased by an officer early in the period as the pommel is a 1938 changeover type

It is in good shape but has some oxidation pitting and had one of the fins ripped off to make room for the screw to mount it
