Obori Soma Ware Jumping Horse Tea Cup / 大堀相馬焼 湯呑 R11 we are presenting Osara's newFor more than 350 years, Obori Soma ware () has been crafted in Namie, Fukushima, Japan. It is recognised by three distinctive features: a hand painted galloping horse inspired by the regions centuries old horse culture; a soft, bluish celadon glaze covered with a delicate network of fine crackles known as *aohibi*, or blue crackle; and its remarkable double walled construction. By joining two vessels together before firing, artisans create a hollow
