Manufactured after 1901 displaying "King's Crown" this is the British equivalent of the German Pickelhaube Helmet leather helmets of the First World War. The cork body of this helmet is covered by blue cloth and all the mounts are gilded brass showing some wear. The helmet plate (badge) shows the regimental cypher of Lion and Unicorn over the Royal Artillery regiment's motto "UBIQUE" (Everywhere), over a Napoleonic
