Description

Firecracker vine emerges in very late spring and is an elegant twining vine with tiny leaves climbing skyward on anyone or anything nearby

Helleborus foetidus tends to be a permanent addition to a garden even though individual plants might live for just three to five years

the deep shade-loving sacred lilies are highlighted for the season with short stalks of brilliant red berries

Some taxonomists consider Baptisia australis and Baptisia minor to be the same species

starting for us in late August

Hosta yingeri Taehuksan Form DJH270 Salt Tolerant Seaside Plants Firecracker vine emerges in veryThis new Dan Hinkley discovery (collection # DJH270) of H. yingeri is from the Korean island of Taehuksan, west of southern South Korea in the Yellow Sea. The original collection from Sohuksan Island, where the plant was first discovered, is several hours to the south. The Taehuksan Form seems a bit smaller, with the same glossy foliage and stunning, star shaped purple flowers that cluster around the stem in late July and August.
