Georgian Double Band Ring 18k dated 1832, size 5 garnet Measures 2 1/8 x 1This unusual band is from the late Georgian Early Victorian era. Made in 18k and engraved "Paris, Janvier 1832" (Paris, January 1832). The front plaque is engraved "FSC & VSC". I think, THINK, that this may be a wedding band or a romantic token. At first I thought it was a mourning ring, but almost always you would see the full date and rarely see the location. It also has a ton of wear as if it was worn often and loved well.
