This is a rare fully functional World War Two issue U. S. Navy Bakelite flashlight. The flashlight requires two "D" cell batteries, and has a constant "On" and "Intermittent" switch. There is a compartment for a spare bulb in the end cap. Flashlight was constructed by the Stewart R Browne Manufacturing Company, New York. It is certified as a "Permissible Electric Flashlight" and has lots of small type which can only
