This is the cap badge for the 1st South African Infantry Brigade

This an incredible excellent condition example of a WW2 German Luftwaffe Flag Car / Automobile / Vehicle Rigid Fender Wimpel (Pennant) used for the vehicles of high ranking officers and their staff

This example is offered in excellent condition and features a three star Lieutenant General insignia to the  wearer's right side

It wasn't until later that "MODEL" was put before the date on the receiver

and many pictures of other servicemen from the Heer army

This is a lovely condition Silver Grade General Assault Badge with a Solid Back and pin attachment. The badge measures approximately 2 1 8" x 1 5 8", and is in very good condition, with a functional pinback. Unlike most that we see, this example in zinc still retains much of the original silver wash on the front, giving it a great look! There is no maker mark on this badge, but that is not uncommon for later war
