This is just a lovely example of the classic double barrel "Coach Gun"

There were three main types of flying suits used by the Luftwaffe pre-war and these continued to be used throughout the Second World War (with the addition of several types of jacket & trouser combinations)

The rifled barrel still shows lands and grooves

so part of the kit of each gun included a level

and WWII victory ribbon

This hand painted cloth flag is marked with battle quotes such as "For Bravery", and "Good Luck". As with many good luck flags, the flag is marked on across the the top with the Japanese phrase , which reads Bu un Chou kyu ("May your military fortunes be long lasting."). To the right of these is the character , which means "Prayer", so this particular flag is praying for good
