VDO - Engine and Gear Oil Pressure Senders, Part No. 360-406 - Single Station - Floating Ground Charts For VDO SenderAll Pressure Senders are 12 or 24 Volt and have 1 8 27 IPS thread unless noted. These senders work with most VDO series gauges that are 10 180 ohms. Standard Ground: Single wire senders with positive lead only. Grounding occurs through the sender case to common ground. Floating Ground: Two wire senders with positive and negative lead. The sender is insulated in the engine block and grounding occurs through the negative lead to a common ground. (i. e.
