Constructed of gilded and silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a diving Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse with two visible rivets securing the obverse eagle in place, with an integral hinge and vertical pinback meeting an integral catch, maker marked G. H. OSANG, DRESDEN, measuring 42. 08 mm (w) x 53. 27 mm (h),
