Post war, the decals were removed from the helmet, and it was instead fit with replica decals for Werksluftchutz Factory Air Raid Protection at the Bayerische Motoren Werke Aktiengesellschaft (Bavarian Motor Works Corp.) factory in Mnchen (Munich), Bavaria.
