Constructed of nickel silver, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a mobile swastika, overlaid by a swooping Luftwaffe eagle clutching dual lightning bolts, the reverse with two visible rivets securing the obverse eagle in place, maker marked C. E. JUNCKER, BERLIN, with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, measuring 43. 80 mm
