Germany, Kriegsmarine. A Kriegsmarine Battleship Scharnhorst Seaman’s Cap Hold followed by a transfer to(Schiffermtze). An extremely well preserved Seamans cap from the Battleship Scharnhorst, constructed of a black wool exterior with rayon interior liner. The peak of the cap features a 64 mm (w) x 27 mm (h) die stamped gilded brass pin in the form of a Kriegsmarine style German national eagle with wreathed mobile swastika. Directly below is a multi coloured brass cockade with a red felt centre, measuring 24 mm in diameter. The tally ribbon is
