Original U.S. WWI 29th Division Purple Heart & Patch Grouping - 113th Infantry Regiment - James F. Grout MP 44 -Painted M1 Helmet Liner withOriginal Item. One of a Kind. This is a lovely grouping including a 1932 issued Purple Heart engraved to Private James F. Grout, Company M, 113th Infantry Regiment, 29th Division. Grout was wounded on October 11th, 1918 during the Meuse Argonne Offensive. Also interesting is that Grout was an Irish born immigrant. The grouping includes Grouts first issue Purple Heart, numbered along the rim 22769 and hand engraved James F. Grout. Also included is some
