This is a very peculiar but entirely original set of United States Marine Corps marked shoe trees. The trees are small and painted blue, measuring roughly 10 long, 3 wide, and 4 tall. They are marked for Size 6 1 2C. The trees are stamped: THE PHILADELPHIA LAST & PATTERN CO. PHILA., P. A. 2 24 1911 U. S. M. C. This denotes a manufacture date of February 24th, 1911 by the Philadelphia Last & Pattern Company.
