Original U.S. Civil War Naval M1860 Boardinss with Rack Number - Dated 1862 Category_MG 42 Mounts and the stock has definitelyOriginal Item: Only One Available. This is a genuine early United States Naval Boarding Cutlass, right from the beginning of the U. S. Civil War. First adopted in the 1840's this is a classic cutlass design, with a full half basket brass bowl guard. The curved blade, measuring 26" is dated 1862 on the ricasso, but the makers markings, most likely of AMES & CO, have long been worn away. However, a date of 1862 is legible. Overall length is 32 inches.
