Germany, Wehrmacht. A Black Grade Wound Badge, First Pattern Newly Listed centre with blue and red(Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz, 1. Form). Constructed of blackened bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath with scalloped edges, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central raised Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 37. 79 mm (w) x 42. 93 mm (h), weighing 6. 8 grams,
