I crossed my fingers that this bottle would live up to expectations

The fruit is dark and savory

Umami element really came out and forward

Dark cherry, roses, tar and balsam on the nose. A beautiful Serralunga perfume. Sappy and broad on the the palate with terrific palate presence and inner mouth perfume. It was a bit tight at the beginning of the night, but with time continued to grow over the evening reaching the fantastic '95 Rupestris by the end of the night. Finishes long with firm ripe tannins.
