The trunk is a large size with brass latches on the front of the trunk. It is made from wood and canvas. The trunk also has wooden strapping planks all around for protection, bolted on with metal studs and nails and a large section of wood bolted on the front. The internal lining has wear and tear that one would expect. The trunk is heavy and there are many scuffs and tears
