Connemara Peated Single Malt Irish Corsica china bark3 to 4 years old. 40% abv. Fruity smokey on the nose. Really aromatic. Pretty peaty, not as savage as Islay though. Lots of different flavours come through. More tar comes out with water. Some plump fruit notes interlaced with the smoke. Lots of power here. Dry finish with a healthy dollop of peat. Dramatic stuff.
