You can feel the warmth of the country kitchen,, the possibility that somebody has just left the house with the door slightly ajar. Perhaps they had just been foraging? It is signed. It also has a beautiful gilt frame that is in good condition with just an area on the side where it is chipped and the gilt has come off (please see images) A beautiful early 20th century Impressionist style oil painting on stretched canvas.
