Mary West, Trá Mór, Donegal mulch soil compost with the natural colours foundPainted during the lockdown of of 2019 2020 when Mary and her husband spent almost a year in a beautiful yet isolated part of Donegal. During this period, through a series of paintings, Mary captured the landscape and architecture within a short distance of her home. These works capture the scale of the landscape, skies and of course of the Atlantic. Tr Mr translates as 'big beach', and in this case the beach and sea blend into one as the artists
