Rowland Hill R.U.A. (1919-1979), Fair Head, Ballycastle Tools Showing FirRowland Hill was born in Belfast in 1919. By the age of 16 he had three oil paintings hung at the annual show of the Ulster Academy or Arts. Encouraged by the older artist James Humber Craig, he went on to exhibit in London, Toronto and Dublin, where he exhibited 17 pieces between 1935 and 1966.
