Anonymous, The Blue Lake Alicia Boyle Duggan is originally from DublinWest of Ireland landscape depicting a thatched cottage by the water's edge. Dramatic mountains across the water in the distance, with trees, dry stone walls and a small road leading to the cottage. Meticulously depicted in wool, embroidered on linen. The work is labelled 'THE BLUE LAKE' on the reverse (see final photo), but is unsigned. This work has many of the hallmarks of the'Celtic Revival' depictions of western Ireland from the 1920s and 1930s,
