Saishiki Guinomi (Sake Cup) - Rounded Coffee Scoop stockpile of aged woodRounded guinomi (sake cup) in a saishiki glaze by Tetsuya Kowari from March 2026. Guinomi are a prized art in Japanese culture, and Tetsuya Kowaris vessels are no exception. Sensual curves meet unexpected angels in a harmonious fusion of freedom and control. This work is finished in his vibrant, painterly, saishiki style, with abstract, geometric markings defining areas of colour, rendered over a white base and intersected by dramatic carved lines.
