Strekov 1075 "Fred #12" Long Island Aged in heavily charred whiteIn Slovakia near the Hungarian border, vigneron Zsolt Suto runs a small vineyard and vegetable farm, Strekov 1075, literally named after his village and address there. The Fred #11 is a fun blend of red varieties native to this area Alibernet, Dunaj, and Portugieser. Blackberry and blue fruit, a little sepia ink, juicy and tart. The finish is full of iron and copper minerality. Enjoy!
